So, do I need a blog? Probably not. Do I think that this is a good idea? Not entirely... but for some reason I sorta like the idea of it. A couple of friends from high school who I haven't had conversations with in (2008-1995=13) 13 years (that can't be right...) both have blogs and I find them fascinating and look forward to reading them. So that's a reason... I would like to be better at writing and, being a musician, I know that practicing helps (sadly, practicing does not make perfect...), so there's another reason... I want to do something other than watch tv at night...
(I'm not even sure I really want anyone to know I have a blog...)
Well, I'll give it a try and see what I think.

Yessssssss! I know that you have a blog now. And that makes me happy. What starts on a whim quickly becomes an addiction... but I think it's a good one to have. As far as practicing goes, totally agree. It's fantastic practice, which is why perhaps I never advanced past wind ensemble in tenth grade... I just didn't want to practice.
